The MakerBot team recently had the pleasure of visiting Ma'ayanot Yeshiva High School for Girls for Girls in Teaneck, New Jersey, to see their impressive STEAM program firsthand. As a school that uniquely integrates science, technology, engineering, arts, and math into its core curriculum for every student, Maayanot is at the forefront of preparing the next generation of female leaders in technical fields.

What makes Ma'ayanot so unique is their commitment to making STEAM a core requirement for all students. Ma'ayanot is actively building a culture where every young woman is empowered to be a creator, an engineer, and a problem-solver. Demonstrating the real-world impact of their education, the Ma'ayanot STEAM program includes a powerful outreach initiative where students partner with peers from schools for students with disabilities to design and print solutions that address unique daily challenges.

Ma’ayanot Students and their projects

Students exploring the Sprint 3D Printer

During the visit, our team explored their state-of-the-art STEAM lab, where a fleet of UltiMaker 3 printers has been empowering students to bring their ambitious ideas to life. We were thrilled to see the school is now expanding its capabilities by incorporating the new MakerBot Sketch Sprint into its ecosystem, providing even more students with accessible and reliable 3D printing technology.

Ma'ayanot’s curriculum is a powerful example of how hands-on learning can foster creativity and critical thinking. We were so inspired by the innovative student projects that we are now collaborating with the school on a full case study, which will offer a deeper look into their curriculum and showcase the incredible work of their students. Stay tuned for this in-depth story of innovation in education.
