I. Introduction and Purpose.
The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 and its rules (collectively, “COPPA“) require us to inform parents and legal guardians (as used in this policy “Parents“) about our practices for collecting, using, and disclosing personal information from children under the age of 13 (“Child” or “Children“). It also requires us to obtain verifiable consent from Parents if there is any collection, use, or disclosure of a Child’s personal information.

II. Children Using the Sites and Services.
Children may not register an Account for use of the Sites nor may use the Services. Children may only register an Account for use the Sites and Services if MakerBot has received verifiable consent from the Parent of a Child seeking to create an Account. If a Child accesses our Sites or Services via a third party integration into our Sites and Services, the Child still may not register an Account for use of the Sites nor may use the Services.
III. Parents Registering On Behalf of Children.

We have created certain products that allow educators to provide Children educational instruction using the Sites and Services.
