The Director of Business Applications Team is responsible for implementing and maintaining the organization's Business Applications and is responsible for secure and effective operation of all SAAS solution that are used within a wide range of the company.
The role includes collaborating with other teams collecting requirements and understanding the business road map, system maintenance and data integrity to keep the system aligned with the business and up to date as well as managing large projects such as implementing new system applications, creating integrations between the systems, and designing complex process to support the business.
Responsible for all project phases, including:
Project scope, requirements definition and management. Project schedule development and cross functional team recruitment and engagement when required. Project Architecting of the data.
Building a user-friendly experience. Tracking and reporting on execution and overall project status. Risk identification and risk mitigation plan development. Project deliverable tracking and reporting. Provides pro-active communication of program status to Operations, and all other stakeholders. Continually surveys the market for new and/or alternative products, services and solutions Plans, tracks, executes and reports on projects. Documents and supports deviations and rework as needed. User acceptance test and training to end users. Measure user adoption. Provide business with analytics to monitor process and business performance.
The Director of Business Applications Team oversees the Business Application Team and manages strategic outsourcing initiatives by:
Using functional knowledge, experiences, and management skills to promote team performance and continual improvement of the application. Weekly team meeting to track progress, discuss new requests. Initiate projects to make sure the company’s application are up to date. One-on-one meetings with each team member to discuss areas of strength, and areas that need improvement.
Requirements for this position
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management (or related field such as Engineering and Management) with background in Information Systems. Three years of experience as salesforce administer or managing global infrastructure of salesforce. Working knowledge of the financial aspects of business. Experience using integration tools such as Boomi Integration to insure smooth data flow between the systems. Experience with NetSuite. Experience managing customer facing application such as E-commerce, Magento 2.
Additional skills required:
Experience with CRM managing data loads and data quality, managing salesforce infrastructure.
Understanding data bases, table relationships and reporting models. Experience simplifying business process buy designing a flow and building automations. Experience simplifying cross department business process while answering business needs. Ability to prioritize between projects within different departments and systems. High communication skills among leadership and colleges. Ability to search for more platform and solutions to best support the business.
