-Before slicing your file for print, ensure your Smart Extruder+ is selected within your Print Settings under Extruder
-Check for tangles in your filament spool before printing
-Make sure your build plate is level
-Reslice old files in MakerBot Desktop 3.9 before you print
-Attach your Smart Extruder+ and make sure it fully connects
-On the Replicator Z18, load filament through the top of the extruder then snap the guide tube into the clip
