MakerBot Events | MakerBot Goes Big (and Small) in Tokyo
| by MakerBot
Half an hour outside of Tokyo stands the Makuhari Messe, a massive convention center that will host this winter’s Wonder Festival, the world’s largest Japanese collectibles expo with a typical attendance of more than 50,000 fans from around the world. MakerBot will be there with Good Smile Company, the global leader in Japanese hobby products and services.
Good Smile, by far the biggest player in attendance (they take up a sixth of the showroom floor) will draw the usual throngs of thousands. MakerBot will be there to introduce the latest designs from the MakerBot Studio, our in-house designers of high-quality, delightful, printable, and paintable digital 3D models, as well as our new Fifth Generation MakerBot Replicator 3D Printers.
These sleek ninjas are the first of many designs developed by Good Smile that we hope to see as 3D prints. Keep checking the MakerBot Blog for updates.
If you’re in the greater Tokyo area, stop by the Makuhari Messe on Sunday, February 9, from 9 am—6 pm to say ‘konnichiwa.’
