Today, MakerBot announces MakerBot Europe, a major expansion of our international operations.
Exciting Growth
As part of this effort, our fast-growing organization is acquiring certain assets of our Germany-based partner, HAFNER’S BÜRO, which has been a MakerBot reseller in Germany for several years and has extensive relationships with key MakerBot customers, resellers, and events throughout Europe.
MakerBot Europe will continue to manage the large network of MakerBot resellers throughout Central and Eastern Europe. MakerBot’s current resellers will transition to working with MakerBot Europe.
“We are so excited to officially launch MakerBot Europe and expand MakerBot’s global reach,” notes Jenny Lawton, president of MakerBot.
Expanding Reach
While the European market has always been a robust one for MakerBot, a global leader in the desktop 3D printing industry, we’ve traditionally focused our sales and marketing efforts in the United States. Now, with the creation of MakerBot’s European office, we’ll be able to expand our reach in many countries.
More Than 20 Countries
MakerBot Europe will encompass Austria, Belgium, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, and other European countries.
It’s a big region full of architects, engineers, artists, educators, and innovators of every kind. And we’re eager to get better acquainted.
Europe, we can’t wait to see what you make!
