A New Home In Brooklyn

Since 2009, MakerBots have been made with Brooklyn pride. Today, we’re excited to strengthen our relationship with the Brooklyn community with the official opening of our new MakerBot Factory and warehouse in the Sunset Park district of Brooklyn. The new MakerBot Factory boasts more than 55,000 square feet of production and warehouse space and has more than 100+ “productors” working there. We plan on hiring another 50+ employees in the coming months. Now that the finishing touches on the MakerBot Factory are complete, we’re ready to illustrate how MakerBots are fueling the Next Industrial Revolution. On Friday, June 7, 2013, invited guests and media will see the new space, get a tour of the facility, and enjoy a celebratory ribbon cutting ceremony with MakerBot CEO Bre Pettis, invited officials and our leadership team. We are excited about the next phase of MakerBot and thank you for being part of our journey so far.
