When graphic artist Eve Weinberg was asked to create a teaser for the 5th annual BAM CinemaFest, she created an animation that brought to life the home turf of the festival, Fort Greene, Brooklyn. Eve used a MakerBot Replicator 2 Desktop 3D Printer to create detailed models of One Hanson Place and the Harvey Theater, two of the most iconic buildings in the area, and where BAM is headquartered. These models were the focus of an amazing one-minute animation for the festival. Take a look at some behind-the-scenes photos over at Eve’s company site. BAM! Fellow creative Brooklynites, we salute you.
