Educational and downright fun, this class lets kids play while learning and designing in 3D thanks to easy to use software. A MakerBot instructor will help children make individual 3D prints on our very own MakerBot Replicator Desktop 3D Printer. At September’s “Made By Me” 3D workshop, you’ll design and create a unique pendant using a logo of your choice. Bring a JPEG file of your logo design or create your own in the class! A MakerBot Retail Operator will guide you through the process of making this unique, personally branded accessory. Adam Wolf is the co-founder of the Princeton University Low-Cost Sensors for the Environment (PULSE) Lab. PULSE used a MakerBot Replicator 2 Desktop 3D Printer to develop prototypes of the PULSE Pod, a low-cost enclosure that protects sensors from environmental conditions. You’re invited to hear Adam and his team discuss the PULSE Pod, including the prototyping process, a companion data collection app, and current uses. Space is limited, so register now.
