ToM filament guide by MakeALot

The future has arrived yet again — this time, in the guise of an easily printable system for attaching our new plastic spools to your bot.

MakeALot‘s filament guide (and the Spool Holder by our on charlespax) come together to act as a robust system for dispensing plastic filament.  pauldebra deserves a mention here also for the original design, but MakeALot’s derivative includes some cross-braces to make it tougher so he gets the nod here.

If you’re planning to use the spooled plastic, we highly recommend making these parts some of your first prints, right after you’ve done some calibration prints.

I needed a little more support around the base and to stop any twisting, so I added a few simple cubes to the original.Dank je wel Paul!
