What are the best Things on Thingiverse?
As we near the year’s end and look back over the last year there have been some really amazing things on Thingiverse.1 Mousetrap challenges, numerous design challenges, shattered Hall of Fame records, huge multi-part designs, and some truly incredible designs that have pushed the limits of 3D printing. So, with that in mind:
- Who is your favorite designer of the year?
- What is your favorite Thing this year?
- What has been the best knickknack for explaining how a MakerBot works?
- What’s the best jewelery Thing on Thingiverse this year?
- What’s the best fidget toy on Thingiverse this year?

Michael Curry “Skimbal” designs FTW!

My favorite thingiverse designer for this year has gotta be twotimes. He has done so much for the Makerbot community, he updates his designs often, and he always responds to comments and design requests. And he has made some pretty awesome stuff!
Twotimes
Thanks Beak90, I have to say it was mostly in self interest. I want my printer to print better. (sorry about taking so long on the Z-rider instructions.) I just installed Rob Giseburt’s PSMD and the bot is now super quiet – 16th stepping FTW!
Twotimes
My vote would be for Pattywac, not that he has made many things himself, he instead got many people making things.
