Anyone manage to actually print these on a makerbot?

Interesting, but do protein structures print as ribbon representations on a makerbot? The angles appear to be too severe for makerbot printing with ribbons. My experience using VMD and Arthur Olson’s help is that a course surface must be generated in order to print anything protein related. Thoughts? Do do have printable objects on thingiverse? See my human rhinovirus upload on thingiverse.
