Solstice Calendar Observatory

Carmiac’s solstice calendar observatory is advertised as coming with a crazy number of configurable options with a parametric OpenSCAD design. It can be used to generate an observatory for nearly any location on earth or another seven planets in our solar system.1

How cool is it to own a machine capable of generating observatories???

  1. I checked the source code – all too sadly, poor Pluto is left out.  :( []

Wow! I’m glad you like it!. I left out Pluto because it isn’t a major planet and the nature of its rotational and orbital relationship with Charon greatly complicate the calculations necessary. If you wanted to create observatories on the dwarf planets, I would suggest Ceres, as it is much better behaved.
