How to upload a derivative to Thingiverse
Housing derivatives - the nifty plastic kind
Uploading a derivative to Thingiverse is easy – once you know how to do it.1
- Click “I made one!“
- Scroll down until you see “Did you change the design?“
- Upload your modified source file.
- Click “Upload File“
Now you’ll see the regular Thing editing page you’re used to – except that it will be linked as a derivative of the original Thing.
Go forth and derive!2
