MakerBotted Not-So-Mini-Fig
Stefan made a 2x version of the popular minifig.
This is my version of a Mini Fig. I measured, modeled, and scaled a mini fig x2. I made minor modifications to make it printable and articulating. Scale to fit. The STLs are 2 times actual size. Print each peice. Use 3mm filament for hinge pins in the arms and legs. Assembly was tricky. I welded the hips to the torso using my extruder like a welding gun.
One of the cool features of Thingiverse is that when people make a copy or derivative of a design, they can upload a photo or their new design and it automatically gives attribution to the original designer. Check it out, tmophoto has made one and uploaded a picture!
