ReplicatorG 0018 now on sale for zero dollars and zero cents

ReplicatorG 0018 is now available for download!  This release is predicated on the firm belief that no one should have to learn to use Blender just to scale an object.  ReplicatorG now includes basic object manipulation functions, like scaling, rotation, placement, and mirroring.  See our documentation for a quick introduction to the new features!

We could say more, but really, there’s no reason not just to get it from the ReplicatorG download page.  Go!  Get it now!

As always, there’s also a number of minor improvements and bug fixes, like a smarter launcher for Windows.  See the full list below.

If you run into any problems, please let us know as soon as you can so we can try to fix them.

Thanks, -a

    Hello and thanks for all the hard work you all have done. I used RepG for my first RepStrap and it was great. I think you spoiled me. Now I have a RepRap ready to go but the software is giving me headaches.

    does RepG support stepper motor driven extruders yet?

    Wow, some amazing changes with replicatorg in the last couple of months. keep up the good work! Any way the Make’N'Break script can be added to the next version? That would absolutely make this a perfect software package feature wise for me.

    Note that while the distribution downloads are on google code, the actual source is on GitHub. The above referenced replicat.org/download page says this and links to GitHub, however if you get to the google pages and click on source tab, you get the old source code. Caveat Developer.

    I just want to say thank you. I just got my Mendel running RepG0018 and love it. I have been struggling because of the stepper motor extruder and am so happy to be using RepG again.

    The improvements you all have made make this the best free software to run a 3d printer.

    Having a hard time finding the “Explicit python path preference” info. The prompted python download works fine; however, the next ReplicatorG 0018 pass cannot find the install.

    which python
    /Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.7/bin/python

    Hi Steve;

    Open the “File>Preferences” dialog. There will be a button that will prompt you to select your python binary.
