World Wide Makerbot Map - Google Maps

According to the MakerBot map, where MakerBot Operators can share their approximate location of their MakerBot, there are more MakerBots clustered in Seattle than any other place on earth. It’s arguable that the greater San Francisco area has more, but you have to go pretty far and include Sacramento. There are lots of MakerBots out there that aren’t on the map, but this is what we have to go by right now! Is your MakerBot on the map?

I’ve got one in Singapore, but I don’t see where to register its location.

it is not the most friendly one to try to find how to add your maker bot but it is there, i did mine to the reprap one.

I wish people wouldn’t use icons, they overlap other markers. it’s tough to tell how much is underneath.

I recently took a trip up to the Metrix:CreateSpace in Seattle, and they have two, plus the means to make more (namely a laser cutter) They also have a RepRap Mendel that they printed out via Makerbot.

I live in Seattle and can confirm we have not only the most maker bots, but the most nerds per square meter in the continental united states.

Interesting fact: The SI unit for nerds over square meters is the “flaven.”

Too bad those user pictures make the map almost unusable until you zoom in quite a ways.
