  How do we find out which batch our orders are in? Just wondering…

  I was going by the text on the product description page, Torfinn. The bit that says “Due to incredible demand, this is a presale kit for those who wish to reserve their spot in line…”

  That said batch 12 when I clicked Buy so that’s where I’m guessing I am. My order date was 2/19/10, if that helps. I think it changed to batch 13 about a week after that and it’s saying batch 14 now.

  I know the MakerBot folks are going as fast as they can, and I really do appreciate that, but more blogs on production would be great. I find myself checking the order status page at least a few times a day..

  Hi there everyone, just to clarify: Batch #11, which had some delays, is shipping now, many have already gone out. Batch #12, which on the order page was scheduled for a “late March Shipping date.” They are moving forward on time and we expect to meet our schedule. Batch #13, which has recently closed out, is scheduled for a late April shipping date.

  Yeah, I ordered mine toward the end of January, so I assume I am in Batch 11, and I am anxiously awaiting that email with a tracking number in it

  Any word on when individual gen3 electronics kits will be available? I have my wishlist set up and ready to go on the website along with plastic, some extruder parts, and other misc gear to get my micro cnc rig pumping plastic!

  I too find myself checking the makerbot store on a daily basis…

  btw, well done to the makerbot team – I just can’t believe how much the makerbot effort has kickstarted the home open source 3d printing world into a whole new era. Keep up the good work.

  This kind of demand is just what the doctor ordered. You guys must surely be looking at stepping up production if this continues? What are the chances of some Chinese company reverse engineering your work and flooding the marketplace with cheap knockoffs?
