Introducing MakerBot Intern Will Langford
Will reached out to us and asked us if we wanted a mechanical engineering student from Tufts as an intern. We took one look at his portfolio and he’s been on the team for the last month running the laser and doing tests with a hot glue extruder.
Fun facts:
Will started the Tufts Robotics Club!
Will’s got MakerBot #41
Will’s a prolific digitally designer and is responsable for the a flashlight and camera on Thingiverse. Both MakerBot-able!
Besides firing the LAZZZOR, Will will be writing up articles for the MakerBot blog.

i have an idea for a possibly usfull addition to the makerbot design
my idea is to have a print interupt switch so that a hollow shell print can be stopped part way through to insert components then resumed to build the shell around the internal parts
for example putting balls into a sealed bearing or gears inside a model differential or gearbox
I hope this idea is usefull
